Attending Authors
Also attending our Open House are kid-friendly authors Kip Cosson and Leslie Kumer!
Kip Cosson: After receiving an advance from Harper Collins in 2004 to illustrate a children's book, he faced initial challenges. Despite this, through perseverance and motivation from the city he loves, Cosson was able to self-publish "Ned Visits New York," which sold over 16,000 copies. When his book "Meece For Mayor of New York City" came out, he sought reviews from actual mayors worldwide. This included Mayor Eb Whipple of Cheeseville, CA, who later appeared in his book. "New York City A to Z" won Best Children's Book at the 2015 New York Book Festival, and his latest book, "New York City 1 to 20," was released last year.

This award-winning author and illustrator will be at our Open House on
Saturday, July 5th to autograph his books including his newest "Dogs of Woofstock".

She first published “Tom’s MRI Space Adventure” with Archway Publishing as an imaginative way to discuss and alleviate anxiety within children. Kumer starts off her next series with "Brianna the Iguana: the Professional Golfer", a fun filled adventure of self-determination that helps to empower children of all ages.
You'll have a chance to meet with Leslie and peruse her books at our Open House on Saturday, July 5th. Her books are available for purchase online as well.
